Hollister Launches VaPro Plus & Apogee HC: Two New Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheters

Hollister - 1

Hollister Incorporated recently announced the availability of two new hydrophilic intermittent catheters, the VaPro Plus™ touch free hydrophilic intermittent catheter, and the Apogee HC™ hydrophilic intermittent catheter.  These new catheters build upon the existing Hollister Continence Care portfolio of products and services, which include the Advance Plus™ and Advance Plus Pocket™ touch-free intermittent catheters and Secure Start™ services.

Michael Gresavage, Vice President, North America, Hollister Incorporated said, “VaPro Plus is the only pre-hydrated catheter with protective tip and sleeve and attached collection bag, while the Apogee HC is a simple-to-use hydrophilic catheter that provides additional control and smooth lubrication at an affordable price.”

The VaPro Plus intermittent catheter is an extension of the innovative VaPro catheter launched earlier this year.  VaPro hydrophilic intermittent catheters use pure catheter hydration technology to minimize the amount of water in the package while still providing a pre-hydrated catheter that is ready to use as soon as the package is opened.  VaPro catheters are designed for easier insertion and withdrawal with the smooth hydrophilic coating and protective tip and sleeve to help avoid contaminating the catheter during use.

Apogee HC hydrophilic intermittent catheter is the newest member of the Apogee Essentials™ line, which offers quality at an affordable price.  The Apogee HC hydrophilic catheter is simple to use. The Appogee HC is designed to provide smooth insertion for those seeking a more comfortable catheterization experience. This catheter is designed to be well lubricated and easy to use and offers added control with a sliding sleeve to help avoid touching the catheter.
