The New Stuff

Hollister Announces New VaPro Plus Pocket Touch Free Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter

Global catheter manufacturer Hollister Incorporated has launched the VaPro Plus Pocket touch free hydrophilic catheter, designed to help make the lives of those who use catheters a lot easier. This closed system catheter is pre-hydrated and was developed for easier use and better discretion, giving the users more independence and less hassle.

VaPro3]Although it’s pre-hydrated, the VaPro catheters use pure catheter hydration technology to minimize the amount of water used in the package. Hollister provides a wide range of continence care products, but the VaPro Plus Pocket catheter differs from the rest as a hydrophilic catheter that is touch-free, making it easy to use without the mess.

Michael Gresavage, Vice President North America says, “We designed our VaPro Plus Pocket touch free hydrophilic catheter to meet the needs of catheter users by providing ease of use, protection and discretion. Additionally, our hydrophilic catheter is touch-free, allowing users to focus on what’s important and to stay independent.”

Pre-hydrated and ready to use after opening, the hydrophilic coating and protective tip allow for easy insertion and withdrawal, helping to lessen the chances of infection and contamination during use. Not to mention, the discrete package makes for easy storage.

The VaPro Plus Pocket catheter is available in both 16” and 8” lengths and in a variety of French sizes.
