Cure Medical Premieres Two New Products to Improve Catheter Use

curecath_closed_systemCure Medical consistently delivers innovative products to the catheter market and today is no different! Cure recently launched two new products to help make intermittent self-catheterization easier and more convenient: the M14UK and the M14UL.

The M14UK features the 14 French Cure Pocket Catheter in the “U” shape combined with an insertion kit. The insertion kit has a collection system with a universal adaptor, high quality gloves, water-soluble lubricant, BZK antiseptic and a drape. All of these components come in a small easily opened and convenient package.

The M14UL combines the 14 French Cure Pocket Catheter in the “U” shape with a 3 gram pack of lubricant. Both products improve upon the end user experience by making both sanitary intermittent catheterization and sterile intermittent catheterization easier and more convenient.

Cure Medical’s Legacy of Excellence

Cure Medical founder Bob Yant

Cure Medical founder Bob Yant

Founded by quadriplegic Bob Yant in 2008, Cure Medical strives to improve lifestyle options for catheter users.

Yant is a C4/C5 spinal cord injury survivor, whose injury was caused by a tragic diving accident in Newport Beach, CA when he was 19 years old. As Yant became a catheter user, he struggled due to the lack of comfort and ease of use with substandard catheters.

He worked tirelessly to change the catheter realm not only for himself, but for the spinal cord injury community as well. Yant has since strived to find ways to make catherization more efficient, more comfortable, and less stressful for catheter users through the products that are developed and offered by Cure Medical.

Yant is also on the board of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and an active fundraiser for the organization.
