Abilities Expo and Wheel:Life Announce National Organizational Partnership

Abilities Expo and Wheel:Life are proud to announce that they have joined together in a national organizational partnership for 2015.

Abilities Expo [ ] offers a consumer road show of new products, programs and resources designed for the disability community, and Wheel:Life [ ] is an online community that features many of the same lifestyle areas and topics for people who use wheelchairs.

As part of the organizational partnership arrangement, Wheel:Life will be providing educational content and informative articles to the Abilities Expo community website as a free resource for Abilities Expo attendees. Abilities Expo participants will also be able to obtain any of the Wheel:Life e-books on fundraising and relationships for free by filling out a simple request form on the Abilities Expo website.

Additionally, Wheel:Life will be participating in three of the six Abilities Expo events throughout 2015, with staff reporting from the Los Angeles, New York City and Washington, DC metro area shows.

“We’re excited about this new partnership with Wheel:Life.We both strive to serve the same communities and, by working together, we both hope to serve more members of the disability community,” said David Korse, President & CEO of Abilities Expo.

“With our virtual audience spanning the globe, we wanted to do more to help introduce our members who use wheelchairs to lifestyle-enhancing resources including new products, local non-profit programs and other valuable connection points that are uniquely available through the Abilities Expo roadshow. We are honored to also relay the personal stories of people with disabilities who are living amazing lives that we meet within the extensive Abilities Expo community,” said Lisa Wells, Wheel:Life Director.

Here’s what you’ll discover at the Abilities Expo:

Abilities Expo events are free for the general public to attend, however, registration at or in person at the start of each show is necessary to obtain your admission pass. Throughout 2015, the Abilities Expo will be hosting events at the following locations nationwide:

  • Los Angeles Metro – March 6-8, 2015
  • New York City Metro – May 1-3, 2015
  • Chicago – June 12-14, 2015
  • Houston – July 31-Aug 2, 2015
  • September 18-20, 2015
  • Washington DC Metro – Dec 4-6, 2015
